FIM Event Licence strengthens safety at the 100th FIM 6DAYS®

As the FIM 6DAYS® Portugal celebrates its historic 100th edition, the FIM Event Licence provides added protection for the many people working behind the scenes to deliver the world’s oldest off-road motorcycle competition.

Launched earlier this year, the FIM Event Licence combines a dedicated licence with insurance cover for team personnel, mechanics, engineers, officials, volunteers, media representatives, service providers, parents and partners attending FIM events.Cover extends across paddocks, pit lanes, refuelling zones, liaison routes and other designated event areas, as well as during travel to and from the event.Available on a voluntary basis, and not mandatory for participation, the FIM Event Licence can be purchased as either an annual or per-event policy. It includes a range of protection options, including medical assistance, repatriation, and death and permanent disability cover, offering practical support should the unexpected occur.
