Strong entry expected in Club Team Awards for 6DAYS® Portugal

October 7, 2026

Ready to celebrate its hundredth edition, the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations in Grândola, Portugal, will welcome a wealth of riders to compete in the Club Team Award categories.

As the longest-running off-road event on the FIM calendar, the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations attracts competitors from all around the world. Alongside the World Trophy teams competing, it is the Club Team Award (CTA) classes that ultimately field the largest portion of the pre-entry list.

In Grândola, it is expected that around three hundred and forty riders from up to thirty nations will compete in the Club Team Award, Veteran Club Team Award and the MOTOREX Women’s Club Team Award categories.

Always highly competitive, the CTA class sees a very strong mixture of professional and amateur competitors entered, ensuring the outcome of this year’s 6DAYS® will be very hard to predict for those focused on finishing at the sharp end of the results.

Diving into the pre-entry list, it is Team Italy who stand out as one of the early favourites. A quality line-up featuring Manolo Morettini (Husqvarna), Pietro Scardina (TM MOTO) and Simone Cagnoni (KTM) will be tough to beat.

Morettini helped Italy to the World Trophy victory in 2025 and will no doubt use that experience to help his teammates and him fight for the top step of the CTA podium in 2026. Scardina and Cagnoni are both formidable riders too. Scardina is the newly crowned FIM Youth Enduro World Champion, while Cagnoni placed third to Scardina in that championship.

In total, seven teams entered are from the United States. They are headed by 2025 runners-up, Team Rabaconda. GTBN are another notable entry, thanks to their overall result of fourth last year. Always a nation to watch in the CTA class, expect the United States to vie for the podium in Portugal.

With thirteen teams entered in the CTA class, Great Britain field the largest number of entries and will be hoping for success. As host nation, Portugal have eleven teams entered and, with the advantage of home support behind them, should figure highly in the overall results.

Alongside Italy, the United States, Great Britain and Portugal, the CTA will see teams from Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Spain, Japan and Canada, among others, roll off the start ramp on 12 October. This year, the Veteran Club Team Award category has twelve entries.

Slovakia’s Gottbros Team took the overall win in 2025 and will look to defend their title in 2026. The MOTOREX Women’s Club Team Award sees one entry, with Great Britain’s Rogershill Women’s Team confirmed. The trio of Emily Elliot-Hall (Beta), Christine Harcourt (Beta) and Katie McGeachy (Husqvarna) will give their best throughout the tough six days of racing at 6DAYS® Portugal.
